Stress Relief/Immunity Boost Classes (Wonderful Wednesdays Online Version)

LAST CLASS of the weekly series was July 22.
We all could use less stress & immunity support now, more than ever! The venues I teach at are closed due to the government mandates, and I wanted to offer support to as many people as possible!
Join me in practicing Moving Meditation (QiGong), 6 Healing Sounds & Sitting Meditation via Zoom on a donation basis:
* Qigong: Similar to Tai Chi, slow movement with deep breaths is a powerful way to strengthen the immune system by oxygenating the blood, improving circulation and reducing stress.
* 6 Healing Sounds: Using color, sound and movement, we'll practice releasing emotions such as anger, fear & worry, so we can make room for happiness, balance and peace.
* Sitting Meditation: We'll practice sending healing energy to ourselves, a loved one & the entire planet.

You can join with a smartphone or tablet, but computers seem to work best. If you've never logged into zoom before, this video explains how:
--> Very Important: Log in with only ONE device. If you log on to more than one (for example, phone and computer or tablet) loud feedback can occur and hurt everyone's ears. Choose the one that has the biggest screen and a mic/camera and you should be good to go.
-->Please log in a few minutes before 6pm Pacific Standard Time (Los Angeles time zone) to make sure you can connect. There's a limit to how many people can join, so the sooner you log in, the better. BONUS: In the first 5 minutes of class, I will share an immunity boost tip. -->Wear comfortable clothing and have a glass of water nearby in a quiet area. It's ideal to stand during Qigong and sit for the 2nd half of class, so prepare your surroundings before logging in. Toward the end of class, you can choose to lie down on a yoga mat or other comfortable set up. If you have challenges with standing for the first segment, you can sit on a stool. It will be easier than a chair with arms.
--> We may be touching our face after the first segment, so it's advisable to wash your hands prior to class.

Wonderful Wednesdays: Qigong, Meditation & More! (Live/In-Person)
We're back in the Float State Studio!
For live/in person classes, we'll be maxing out on 6 students per class for now, to abide by the social distancing mandates.

If you answered YES to any of the above, Qigong can help!
Qigong (chee-gong) means "practicing with energy", which increases oxygen flow in the bloodstream, and moves energy in your meridians to encourage your body to function at its best.
Qigong uses easy-to-follow, slow movements with rhythmic breathing, making it ideal for any age, any body type, in any condition.
This practice combines ancient knowledge with modern day mindfulness, encouraging the body to release blockages on a physical, emotional, mental and spiritual level.
2nd half of class alternates between 6 Healing Sounds & meditation.
All weekly class fees are $15 now, taken up front, at the reception desk. Cash or credit cards accepted.
If you're feeling extra grateful and want to offer your instructor a tip, you may do so directly with the teacher, after class.
Bring your own yoga mat and a water bottle. Wear comfortable clothes.
Be prepared to remove shoes in the classroom.

Classes are limited to 10-15 people to honor the 6' rule. First come, first serve. Reservations to enter the spa are now required. Employees will be wearing masks or shields and everyone will pitch in on sanitizing props as part of our mindfulness practice.
